3934149 4.648 BRACKET (hanger) 68 (1968 Assembly Manual) History.: The Part # was used on 68 Chevelles and most didn't have any holes on the drivers side of the hanger for the NSS, since the Neutral start switch wasn't available til the 1969 model year. Part # 3934149 was replaced by part # 3937992 in November of 1968 (69 Model year).

The February 1969 parts catalog lists part # 3939675 as the 69 Chevelle number and Part # 3969416 replaced Part # 3939675 in July 1969. I assume the different part numbers reflect when the Neutral Start Switch mounting changed. The 1968 pedal hanger in the picture above doesn't have the mounting holes for the NSS. 3967783 0.830 PEDAL,Clutch 68-72 (Chevy Parts Book) The 1968-72 Chevelle clutch pedal is a'pin style' pedal that uses a clip retainer. This ' makes it incompatible with it's Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac cousins. History.: The part #3916485 was used on the 68 models The '485' was replaced by part #3956777 in February 1969.

Disclaimer: Factory correct applications are your responsibility. GM made part and part # changes with no rhyme but a reason (no production interruptions at any cost). Application charts are for replacement parts that were available at the time of parts book printing. My observations come from the parts I have in my collection or other reliable sources your parts may differ. If Factory correctness is your goal, do more research, join car clubs, forums and buy an assembly manual if one is available for your Project Car (you wont be sorry). This is a fun and interesting part of the hobby!
